"OUT OF THE FOG" by Beth Dubber (Season 2, Episode 3)

Beth Dubber graciously shared her original photo series "Out of The Fog" with us for anyone who is interested in seeing it.

"Out of the fog" in the context of adoption refers to an adoptee coming to terms with and acknowledging the emotional complexities of their adoption experience, often including grief, loss, and identity issues, which were previously suppressed or denied, allowing them to move forward with a clearer understanding of their past and its impact on their life. The word fog is also an acronym, standing for Fear, Obligation, and Guilt.

Coming "out of the fog" essentially means facing the reality of their adoption story and processing the emotions that come along with it.
